Hello, are you there?
While you’re answering these questions, things are going on all around you and you are missing out. What causes us to think that something is more important than what is going on RIGHT WHERE WE ARE? Does it go back to the old adage, “the grass is greener on the other side?” Or are we just projecting and thinking we need to be planning
the next thing because we are so busy we will get behind?
By multi-tasking and projecting we are missing so much of what is going on around us. I’ve been researching multi-tasking lately and it causes many people to experience anxiety, restlessness as well as a slower progression of accomplishing tasks. So, though those of us multi-taskers think we are getting extra things done, it’s actually slowing our progress of getting one thing done quicker. Believe me I get it… as I have often given myself lots of credit for being able to do multiple things at one time. Lately though, I’m starting to notice that this “multi-tasking” ability isn’t really all it’s cracked up to be and it’s near impossible. So now you’re probably thinking, “what’s the solution?” Well it’s so simple, it hurts.
Here ya go:
~ BE PRESENT
~ DO ONE THING AT A TIME and DO IT “WELL” TO COMPLETION
~ LIVE IN THIS MOMENT ONLY as THERE MAY NOT BE ANOTHER
In summary, multi-tasking is going out of style and research shows that by concentrating in the moment brings “greater happiness, less stress and a more joyful life!
